Netflix Free Trial 2020 For Indian Users For One Weekend
A popular streaming platform Netflix is planning to offer its Netflix free trial streaming services to non-subscribers in India for a weekend. The Netflix free trial is a 48 hours free promo which Netflix is calling “StreamFest” will begin on 4 December.
Recently, Netflix free trial for Indian Users for one weekend has stopped for the new users in the US. However, according to the COO and Chief Product Officer at Netflix Greg Peters, the company is experimenting with new ways to attract users in other countries.
Greg Peters said one of the new ways to attract customers is to give away Netflix free trial for one Weekend in different markets.

Peters said that Netflix plans to give everyone in a country Netflix free trial for a weekend as it would be a great way to “expose a bunch of new people to the amazing stories that we have, the service and how it works…and hopefully get a bunch of those folks to sign up”.
While globally Netflix now has 195 million subscribers, in India, its user base is pegged between 2.5-2.8 million. It is much lower than competitors Disney +Hotstar and Amazon Prime Video, both of whom now have a subscriber base of closer to 10 million, as per various industry estimates.
However, Netflix subscription is much costlier than the other streaming services. While Disney+Hotstar offers two subscription offers – VIP (Rs 399 for a year) and Premium (Rs 1499 for a year), Prime subscription is available for Rs 999 for a year. In comparison, Netflix’s basic plan is for Rs 499 a month, while standard and premium plans are for Rs 649 and Rs 799 per month, respectively.
