What does VPN actually do?
VPN (also called Virtual Private Network) creates a secure connection between you and also the internet service provider wherever your traffic gets routed through an encrypted channel. It hides your IP address and doesn’t permit any app to check its real location.
Essentially, VPN apps permit users to simulate their network to a distinct geographical location whereas hiding their identity. Basically, although you’re in India, using VPN you’ll be able to fool the website into knowing that you’re actually from us, permitting you to check the content that may otherwise only be allowable in that territory.

If you do not use a VPN, then you are a soft target for hackers. Because it is easy for them to hack your communication.
