ZTE Introduced World’s First Under Display Selfie Camera Smartphone
World’s first Under display selfie-camera launched by ZTE Finally a Chinese telecom company ZTE has launched a new smartphone called Axon 20 5G that has a camera under display.
The company has been teasing the phone for a few weeks now and it has finally been made official in China. The ZTE Axon 20 5G offers a truly full-screen experience thanks to this new technology.
ZTE says the under-display 32-megapixel camera has been made possible due to the use of “high transparency material that includes new organic and inorganic films” as well as optimized software algorithms to offset the impact on image quality.
Of course, it’s hard to judge this without seeing the phone in person and testing the camera in practice. It’s also questionable how much value the feature offers over a hole-punch, a pop-up, or even a notch. But we’ll see.
Display: The smartphone features a 6.92-inch full-HD+ OLED panel with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. It offers a resolution of 1,080 x 2,460 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate.

Processor: The device is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 765G SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. There is also an additional storage expansion option via a microSD card (up to 2TB).
Connectivity: For connectivity options, the ZTE Axon 20 5G supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G,5G GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port for charging.
Battery: The phone packs a 4220mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ and 30W fast charging that can charge the phone up to 60 percent in 30 minutes.
Expected price: The ZTE Axon 20 5G is priced at CNY 2,198 (roughly Rs. 23,500) for the 6GB + 128GB variant, at CNY 2,498 (roughly Rs. 26,700) for the 8GB + 128GB variant, and at CNY 2,798 (roughly Rs. 30,000) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. The phone has four color options namely, Blue, Black, Orange, and Purple. It is currently listed on ZTE Mall and there is no information on international availability yet.
