What’s New In Dota 2 Update? How To Play A Dota 2 Tournament?
Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena spawned from a War craft III mode called Defence of the Ancients, which is arguably responsible for establishing the MOBA genre and leading to many copycat titles, among them the popular League of Legends.
What’s new in Dota 2 update?
Update date: December 26, 2019
- Visage: Restored previous Stone Form helper ability.
- Fixed Sange and upgrades amps stacking with themselves.
- Fixed Holy Locket stacking with itself.
How to play a Dota 2 tournament
- Sign up: Sign up and click tournament you would like to sign up to in the tournament list.
After that you will get a button Join Tournament
- Join with Party or Team: There will be two options visible Join with Party or Team. If you are not in any party then you have to click Join with Team.
- Choose your line-up and Confirm participation: The window below will appear after choosing the option to join as a team.
After you have chosen the correct team in the list, all the members will appear in a list to the left.
If a user does not have a Dota 2 account linked the text Ready to play will be replaced with They need to connect a Dota 2 game account.
Then every team member has to confirm their participation. So press Confirm Participation
- Note: If your team does not confirm participation in time – you will not be seeded, this means you will not be able to participate in the tournament.
Then press go to game to enter in game
- Ready up and Join the game: Each member has to be declared as Ready before the game can begin.
You Ready Up simply by entering the lobby via the Go to game button
And done after game the results report will appear.
